Break Room

I walk into the break room after finishing up at the scene of the second MVA. "Hi my name is Steven." I say to Booth as he lifts his head up when he hears my footsteps.

*Stone backs our unit into the parking spot and I grab my hat as we walk into the station*

'Alright, I will see you tomorrow'

*I change out of my uniform and put on my street clothes*

*I put my weapon in my holster and slide it on my badge*

*I walk out to my jeep and drive home*

(lol beat me to it, didn't ya Dave)

'Alright Dave, I'll see you later'

*I head for the lockers, take off my uniform and belt, grab my street clothes, make a quick change, and put my holster and badge on my street belt*

*I grab my bicycle that I brought with me from Washington off the bike rack, and ride it over toward the realtors office that Dave mentioned, and I call ahead on my cell phone*

'Yeah, my name's Jake Stone, I just moved out here, and I work with Dave Lafferty at ERT Police, said you guys had a 2 bed, 2 bath in Trulit up for sale. I wanna see it'

*I back my new jeep into a parking spot*

*I walk into the break room and open my locker and put my unifrom on and grab my hat as I walk out of the break room and go put my hat in our unit and go back inside and wait for Stone to arrive*

'Is Stone your new partner?'

*I notice the desk officer is talking to me*

'Yeah he sure is'

*We talk until Stone arrives*

*I jog into the breakroom*

'Who's ready to patrol?'

(I'm at work, go ahead and godmod me)

I get to the break room in time to grab a strong cup of coffee.

I sit and wait to see if my partner will be in tonight or if I get paired with someone else.

I head out of the locker rooms, having ditched my riding leathers for my police gear, I grab my hat off the side and put it on as I grab a set of keys for CE-1 off the wall mount, and head over to the noticeboard. I see a list of things, which seem important, so I ignore it and grab a copy of the Police Department Planned Operations for the Surrounding Area from the table below the board. I see a few ALPR ops, a couple of raids, and State Police SWAT Training in Phoxlind with PPD units, and then head out to the Magnum, and prepare to go out on patrol.

*I walk into the break room and wait for Nathan to arrive*

*While I wait I talk to the officer manning the front desk*

I walk in "Hey, You are PC-8's driver right? I don't think I've introduced myself. I'm Steven Ford. Kinda new here. I left the FBI's Large Scale Robbery Task Force to come here when I got offered this job. It's a nice area around here. I'm in PC-1 now and I've still got my charger at home with lights but thats a personal." I say as I offer my hand for a handshake.

*I shake Steven's hand*

'Hey, i'm Dave Lafferty, I used to be a EMT, then Medic with ERT-EMS. I moved over to Patrol and been doing it ever since'

'Yeah, it sure is a nice area. I live out in Truitt, love there isn't a lot of traffic out there. haha, how do you like ERT so far?'

"It's a great program and I'm enjoying the calls and experience, but I am also looking forward to getting moved up from Probation haha. The area here is so beautiful but I'm still looking for a nice house around the area. Is trulit nice? If you see any nice lots around let me know I'm looking to build soon. I've been taying with a friend in town who happens to have a guest house in the town on the other side of the mountain which is quite a commute and I've just been leaving my charger there and staying in town and sleeping in the station with PC-1 standing-by for me."

'Yeah, actually I have a good friend who is a realtor.'

*I pull out of one of his cards*

'Here, he gave me a good deal when I first moved here. I then moved into my grandparents old house once they passed'

"Thanks! I've also been looking around for something to do on my downtime. You have anything in mind?"

Well, there is actually quite a bit to do here. We have a race track, firing ranges a bunch of other stuff.

cool Maybe I'll head home for an hour and grab my charger. You think when I get back you could show me the firing range? When is the next race at the track?

*After booking the officer I walk into the break room.
'Hey Guys.'
*I say now turning my attention towards a snack machine. I insert a dollar and it rejects it. I look at it again and try straightening it out before inserting it again, and it gets rejected again. I try a few more times, all failing. I give up and begin walking towards a computer to submit my report about the DUI.

I'm not sure when the next race is. And, I haven't been to the firing range yet either. Heard some people talking about it.

Cool maybe we can go try it out today?

(Just to get things rolling)

*Nathan and myself walk out to our unit*

'Alright, here's the keys. I want you to drive to get used to it.'

*We get in the car and proceed out of the complex*

*I back into my parking spot, and go inside to file my report*

*I mutter under my breath about needing a shower, and a chance to go home for 12 hours*

*I take a hot shower in the locker room, bail out of my uniform, and go to the parking lot and get in my truck, and head for home*

"PC-4 Out of Service."
*I say as I go into the lockeroom and change into my civilian clothes and grab my bag and walk put my things away. I then walk back towards my house.

*I enter the building and walk into the lockerroom and change into my uniform, and sling my bag around my shoulder, securing my gun in its holster, along with my handcuffs and mace. I then put my radio into the slot in my belt and grab my keys and walk out to my patrol car.

* I walk into the patrol break room, make a beeline for the locker room, put on my uniform, duty belt, and my bullet vest. I go check in with the Desk Sergeant*

'Hey boss, need the keys for PC-7'

*I catch the keys as the D-Sarge tosses them*

'Thanks, be back in a few hours'

*I finish typing up my report and enter the break room and purchase a quick breakfast bar and nod to the 2 officers in the room. I then sigh and walk back to my patrol car.

After processing the perp from the drug house, Thomas heads home. I decide to pick up a little OT, so I come into the break room for a few minutes rest. ((I'm assuming his absence is going to be a little while.))

*I arrive at the station and I take off my uniform and head to the showers, 15 minutes later I head out even though I wasn't technically required to take a shower since I wasn't in the house but the Lt. told us all to take showers so I do that and I put the towel around me and grab my other TAC uniform. I go to the locker room and put it on*

*After i come back from the scene, i take a shower wich takes 10 minutes, i put the 2nd toel around me and move to the locker room and i dress my 2nd uniform.*
'So, Booth, it never gets easier, huh?'
*I remember that the DC is giving a metting, so i leave the room*

*I check my car in with the Desk Sergeant, and head for the lockers*

'Thank god this night is over'

*I get into my street gear and go home*

*I grab my gear out of my locker and I head to the front desk and I ask the Sgt. for the keys to a spare car, he gives them to me and I walk out of the station to the patrol car*

*I walk into the locker room and change into my street clothes*

'Man, it feels good to wear shorts'

*I say as I put my weapon in my holster and put my badge on my belt*

*I grab my dirty uniform and put it in a bag to drop off at the dry cleaners, and put my uniform I picked up from the dry cleaners in my locker*

'Alright, see yall tomorrow'

*I walk out to my jeep and head to the dry cleaners and head home*

*I back my jeep into my normal parking spot and grab my dry cleaning that I picked up on my way to work*

*I walk in the locker room and put my uniform on and place my dry-cleaned uniform in the locker*

*After putting my uniform on I walk out to my unit and hop in and go out on patrol*

* I walk into the break room, and grab some coffee and a PowerBar. I eat and drink, then I go over to the duty desk*

'Man, 2 days is just not enough'

*The desk boss gives me the PC-7 keys, and I go get in, and take it over to the TEC garage, fuel up, and give it a quick spray-down with the hose, then I go out on patrol*

*I change into my civi clothes and turn in my keys and radio and take my uniform to get it washed and begin my walk home.

I pull a quite dirty, black Chevrolet Cruze rental into the Police Parking Lot and quickly shift it into park and stick on the handbrake. I climb out, look around and see a few police cars parked up, some other vehicles and the Fire Station a short while away. I turn back to the car, open the rear door and grab my kitbag off the backseat and close the door behind me with my foot, locking it and then putting the key away.

I walk into the station's break room, after giving all sorts of paperwork to one of the Officers working the main entrance and chuck my kitbag on the floor. I see the keys for the all the cars up on the wall, and a few drinks machine, and not many officers, I head out to get changed, and come back in with my uniform on and grab the keys to PC-4 off the wall, and head out to patrol.

*I come walking in from Burkes office.*

'Hi, I'm Dave PC-8 welcome to ERT. If there is anything you need don't hesitate to ask'

*I say extending my hand*

'David, PC-4, it's alright, seems like a nice place you lot have here.' I say in my British accent as I shake Lafferty's hand. 'I'm gonna go check the lie of the land, see you around.' I smile slightly and head out of the break room for my first patrol.

'Alright, if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask'

*I go get new report forms*

"PC-8 to COPA: I'll be back available"

"PC-3 dispatch, 10-24 10-8 from complex"

*I walk out to my patrol car & see the new officer walking out to his, I walk over & introduce myself*

'Hi I am Nathan, otherwise known as PC-3, if there is anything I can help you with please let me know'

*I get into the patrol car & turn it on, I start typing on the mdt to look at the calls*

*I walk to my locker and grab my gear I then grab the keys to a spare patrol car and I walk out to the car and throw my gear in the trunk*

*I walk into the breakroom and wait for Lt. Libor to return*

*I go get myself a coke and contine to wait*

I walk into the station and go up to the desk. 'My name is Hubert Ranta. I'm here for Traffic.'

She nods and hands me keys to my Charger.

I thank her and walk out the door.

I grab myself a cup of coffee and sit down with the paper.

*I walk into the police station to change into my uniform. I then walked out to my car and sat down talking in a nice breath of fresh air. I then start to patrol around noticing that i felt really empty. I stop at a wendys that i found on the corner and bought four burgers( I REALLY LOVE TO EAT). I then walked to my car and went to the 99 cent store for a 2 liter soda. After that i continue my patrol munching on my burger when i notice a poor guy lying on the bench. He looked as if he had no eaten in days so i stop my car, walked up to him and tried to wake him up.(One suprising fact is that he did not smell of liquor).
'' Hey buddy are you alright?''
'' Im officer jacob hannahan. whats your name?.
''my name is Andrew Garcia''.
'' Here you look like your starving''
* I reached into my car, took my two liter soda and 4 burgers and gave it to him. I also threw in 100$ for when he gets hungry again.*
''Take this money but use it wisely ok because it will not last forever ok bud.''
'' Ok officer thank you so much for helping me out here. I was so hungry and nobody else offered to help me at all. I probably would have died of starvation.
'' Thats what officers do. We are not only supposed to give out tickets and arrest people but to also help them out.''
''Again thank you so much.''
'' No problem. I'll see you later, I have to continue my patrol. Bye.
* I get into my car still a little hungry but nothing compared to that man. I continue to patrol around but i find nothing. I guess to is a slow day so i head back to the police station*

($100?! WTH!)

*I pull into the station having dropped off my prisoner.*

"PC-8 is going to be out at the station on my portable"

*I walk in and begin typing on my laptop*

*I change into my street clothes and put my .45 in my hip holster as I walk out of the locker room and get in my jeep and drive home*

*I walk into the police station to get ready to go home. I change into my regular clothes and walk out of the locker room. I then walk outside and and go to my porche 911. I stare at it for a moment and see a scratch going across the side of it. I furiosly get into the car and pull off. The first thing i did when i got home was pick up the nearest phone book and see for any good paint job places.

I watch Steve run by as I'm getting my car assignment. The lady looks at me. "There goes your ride."

I swear under my breath and run out to catch up. "Im your new rookie, John MacLean."

He looks over but is busy. "Im Steve. Get in, we've got work to do."

I do as I'm told and we pull out of the parking lot.

After sending in my application for the Agency at the desk, I walked into the break room. There were a few officers milling around and chatting, I just walked past them and went to my locker. I put the key in and opened it, I grabbed my Sig-Sauer P226, placed it in the holster, the Hi-Vis Jacket and the Traffic Vest I put into my kit bag.

I was already wearing the long-sleeve standard duty shirt with standard duty pants and the Bullet-Proof Vest. I also had the standard issue blue police officers cap on. I then locked my locker and walked out to my Patrol Car. I opened up the trunk and threw my kit bag in the back. I then got into the front and started up the engine. "All units, PC-3 is on duty."

*I step out of my vehicle after turning it off and I walk to the trunk and open it I then take my gear out and walk over to my personal car, and throw my gear into the backseat of my charger. I get in my car and drive home*
