PC Due to check out scene

"Patrol 2 will be responding code 3 to 33 Third Street RE: Possible Break and enter from the station will advise when i get on scene"

I hear pc-2's call and make the order for LF-1 to respond. Be advised, suspects on scene.

"LF-1 responding code 3" I say and open the garage and start the truck.

*As the truck comes to a halt I hop out and wait for orders*

"Anders wait here"

"Yes sir"

**Engine pulls in behind the ladder.**

"E-11 back staging."

"Everyone, we're using TAC 3 for this incident."

"Engine guys, when we get on scene, this is what you'll do. Mitch, pull the 2 1/2", Hannahan, get a pike pole. Lets get connected up, and start a supply line to L-1. I'm going to size up the scene. Ewan, join me for a walk to size it up."

"fire stand by around the block till the scene is safe and the suspects are in custody"

((We're getting ready, the guy in the jump seat is getting hydrant hose I think))

"fire STAND BY around the block you shouldnt be anywhere near the location because its not secure or safe. I will let you know when the suspects are in custody"

(I do all this stuff on word so i have it already done. Copy and pasted the wrong part it depends. Sometimes, but sometimes the engineer, sometimes the officer. I've seen both do it. lol.)

((CHILLAX BRO! Ladder one is at the end of the block, we saw the fire as we drove by, Pumper 11 is at the opposite end of the block getting ready so that we don't waste time getting out equipment when we get there. I'm also getting ready because a lot of patrol officers are not here, and I had police training at one point. So Chillax man.))

((It's hard tonight, it's been a not so great friday the 13th, haha. Screw it. We'll just pull a 4" supply and do this stuff. Still want my engine in front of the house though.))

"Hey, Mitch, go connect a 4" supply line. Lets get some forcible entry tools, a pike pole, and we're going to lay line up to the house whenever it's clear."

**I go to the back of the engine, grab the 4", go 10 feet past the hydrant, then lay it on the ground. I wrap the 4" around the base of the hydrant, then grab the hydrant wrench and lay it next to the hydrant, then stand back and wait for us to be cleared**

"central you can cancel fire it was just a reflection in the window. No fire, no smoke, no damage. Awaiting on a backup unit."

"PC2, we'll make that judgment, I've got the oder of smoke down here and I confimed flames, you do your job I'll do mine."
((If you said you have a small fire don't go back and say it was just a reflection))

"LF-1 to PC-2, we do have a slight odor of smoke back here, we are going to need to check for fire. If you have no visible smoke then it could be in the walls."

PC-2 what's the suspect status?

"I was mistaken, but you guys can make that judgment. We dont need 2 fire units on scene. Lader 1 is a major unit pumper 11 isnt. Sence there is no flames and "maybe" a oder of smoke. Cancel lader 1 so they can be ready for another call so we arnt wasting rescurces."


"Awaiting another patrol unit to take these 2 suspects into custody."

"I'll have to leave that up to the light force officer, he's on P-11"

((Okay you need more training, in any situation you need to have a ladder for checking for fire so that they can take down walls if need be. Let us do our damn job, I offered you help and clarifacation, and I don't need your arrogent punk ass telling me how to do this job. If you make me pissed, you regret it.))

After all our training i was told something like this is over "kill" so to prevent the wasting of resorces you should cancel.

(I dont know what stick you have up your ass, but i havent cursed at you and have been nothing but respectfull to you so i would apreceate the same in return and if you can not then i sugjest you grow up to your age and deal with it.)

"L-1 is staying until we're sure of the situation. If it's just a small fire, then E-11 will handle. If it's any larger or in the walls, we will need them."

"Roger Ladder one remaining on scene."

The scene is still locked down till i have back up

"Whatever, I really don't care" I say "Jack when you get off the rig grab a pike"

"Get the circular saw and chainsaw on the way out Hannahan."

"E-11 to PC-2. We have a very slight amount of smoke visible from our area. That house may go fully involved in a matter of minutes. Careful over there."


((The situation may escalate on this one the longer p.d has us holding. It's not rushing, it's keeping it somewhat real. I'll keep tabs on the fire so you guys know how large or small it is. DO NOT start rushing asking "where's this guy" hold off until you get cleared to do that job. Otherwise we'll have more Galliganos. lol definite jk. Oh, stop arguing.))

*I take the chainsaw and circular saw out and carefully put it on the ground. I also take another pike pole and carefully lean it against the engine.*
(When you or someone else is ready for the pike pole, you can take it and it's also based on telling me before to take it out but since Anders did it IDK if you want me to get another so I took it out.)

Raven, you better damn well watch your language, or you'll be busted right off that ladder. You know just as well as everyone else, show some respect. Swearing on people isn't respect.

Please do not cancel units. That's not your job, you can request units be cancelled from COPA but not just yourself. especially ones staged out.

You do realize it's one person and holding down the scene is letting a fire possibly grow very large. Can you please do something about that suspect right this second, elsewise we could have a large house fire, which you will be held responsible for.



Guys, play nice. NOW. PC-2, stop cancelling units or delaying the scene. COPA decides who goes and who doesn't. The only person allowed to say, naah, you aren't need is the OSC for that division. Raven, watch your language and how you handle situations or else you'll be a cadet in no time. Consider this your warning. IF I come back and you two are still bickering, I'm removing both of you from this call for unprofessionalism on scene and I'll replace you with city units.

Starling - Yes we get it you do things realistic, but in the ERT you don't have the powers to cancel units, and decide that sending a ladder home is good without even checking the scene. A lightforce responds together. I don't want a ladder out there without a pumper or vice versa, especially if there's a fire in there, because then I'll need to call him back. A lightforce is stand response to a small structure fire for ERT.

Raven - Yes he did cancel you and lock down the scene, but instead of telling him off here, you could've either A told him via pm that doesn't work like that in a nice way, or B contacted me with a complaint. Cursing and swearing is not right. Especially over this stupid thing. You're over reacting to this situation. If you said what you said without the cursing on him, I don't think I'd be so strict, but it's all in how you say it. That's not how you say it.



Back to the call.

"PC-2, we need you to secure this scene immediately. Backup is delayed and it's just one suspect, so you'll have to take care of it yourself.

((The agreement was one suspect since backup couldn't happen right away. ERT rules are one officer can handle one suspect easily.))

"Yes Sir" I say and wait for the scene to be cleared

*I check my air pack to see how much time I have on it. I get my mask out and put it next to my pack.*
"I think I'm all set here."
*I look around and make sure everything is safe (no one trips over anything) and I close the compartment I left open.*

"suspect in custody, fire the scene is safe to move in. AG-1 if you can investigate as I am patrol and it isnot in my duties."

I tell here a crakel of the radio then that the scene is clear for fire and wait for Ewen to pull ahead the truck

I put the tools back into the compartments so we can move ahead and I put my SCBA on and get into the pumper. I close the door behind me.

I reposition the ladder in front of the house, then walk up the front steps with an axe. "I got smoke comming from the base boards" I say and I walk into the house's basement. "I got a hot door."

*I pull the pumper up and park it. I start the pump and Take out the tools (pike pole, chainsaw, and circular saw). The 4 inch stayed next to the hydrant so I wait for Anders to connect it. I then grabbed the circular saw and bring it to Ewan.
"I think we should vent it from the outside. IDK but maybe we should."

"Hannahan get in here with a line" I say and kick down the door to the garage and raise the door.

*I run to the end of the street and attach the 4" to the hydrent and let the water flow then run back to the pumper to help Hannanhan with the hoses

I take an attack line and bust out windows before attacking.

I let the water pressure fill the pipes of the pump and I take the line and get in front of the garage and start to spray the fire directly.

I check Hannanhan with the hose and wait for further instruction

I go further into the garage as the fires continue to go down.
"Alright Ewan,You got space to move now.
I keep spraying.

"Hannahan, you guys have fire in the walls going to the attic. It's coming out from under the eaves. Anders, get the circular saw, we need to cut through the walls."

"You may have a bit of fire on the interior too."

((The fire wasn't in the garage. It was in one of the backrooms of the house. That's why I wanted you to break windows. Not everything can be a garage fire. xD))

*"got it" I say as I run to the pumper and grab the cicular saw that was already out and with mu SCBA gear on enter the house to start cutting holes in the walls*

*One hole cut with smoke pouring out of it "Hannanhan et in here with the hose!"*

"AG1 To COPA, we're on scene. I'll take over command for PD (since I'm highest ranking PD officer)."

"Jansen to Garcia, Let me know if the fire is out so we can start the investigation."
"AG 1 to any availeble PC, respond code 3 for crowd and traffic control"

Marques and Bohl get the investigation tools and wait for fire to clear the building.

I put on my Agency turnout jacket and get my fire helmet.

((@Garcia I just did that so that we could enter the BASEMENT the fire is in the basement, as this is a split level house. Also did that so it would make the report of a fire in the room aboive seem plausable.))

"Alright push the fire into the walls come on!" I say and open with a fog battern.

"Im the only patrol officer thats active and PAtrol 6 is off this weekend and im transporting to the station."

"I'll request city PD here for transport, you control crowd and traffic."

'AG1 to COPA, I need city PD here for suspect transport'

*I wait by my car to hand off the suspect to local pd*
"as soon as they are on scene ill dump him off and tell the people to kick rocks"
