Break Room

I head back to my locker to pick up my equipment. I then leave the Break Room, and the Police Station. I walk up to my Dodge Charger patrol car and radio in "Dispatch, PT-7 on duty, over."

I was just appointed as an ERTPD Police Officer (Probationary) and I entered the break room to meet all the other officers and to introduce myself to the crew I will be working with. Hey Officers, My name is Shawn Booth, from Boston, MA, Former Ma. State Police Officer and K9 officer. I did that for about 4 years when I applied for the US Marshals, I was accepted and appointed to the NY/NJ Fugitive Regional Task Force, I did that for a few years when I moved here to get out of the crazy city. And here I am, you can never leave Police work, theres no other job like it!

After be given the Okay by my mentor I decide to hit the streets

"PT-1 to dispatch, I am available for call out, I am now on patrol, Over"

*I back my unit into the parking spot and head inside*

*After I download my pictures off my camera to a computer and fill out a report I turn it in to Libor's box and head back to my car*

"PC-8 will back available"

I walk into the Break Room. I then walk up to locker 46, that the receptionist told me to go to. I open it and grab a utility belt, and ERT Jacket. I put them on and head out of the Break Room, and out of the Police Staion. I walk up to my Patrol Car and open it with the keys. I then get inside, put the keys in the ignition, turn them, and accelerate off.

*I pull up and get out.*

*I walk into the building and sign in with the receptionist when he mentions*

"You've got a note."

*I look surprised, but I take it. I read and I smile. I then read the number below it, I grab my cell phone and diall it.*

Welcome to the force, Probie!

*I leave DC's office and come here to change my clothes and to grab the unmarked car*

------Few minutes later---------

*I'm in street clothes, but I bring my holster and gun, badge, and handcuffs, I then go to the front desk and request the keys to the unmarked cruiser*

'How could I help you officer?'
'Hi, heres my keys to PC-1 can I have the keys to UMC-2 per orders of the commissioner'
'Sure, here you go' *He hands me the keys*

*I start up UMC-2 and head to 1589 3rd Ave. to pick up the victim of a DV and a material witness*

*I pull into the parking lot and park in the UMC-2 parking spot turn off the car and walk into the station to the front desk. I return the keys and get the keys to my cruiser, and walk into the locker room to get my uniform and to change*

*I change into my uniform and walk out to my car and jump in it and pull out of the station*

I walk into the break room and grab myself a cup of coffee, and throw in a bit too much sugar. I start to drink it from the mug as I grab myself a paper, read the headline, decide it's biased, and lob it in the bin. I yawn loudly and grab a chocolate biscuit or three and head to grab CE-1's keys, and see a memo with the new equipment in CE-1, a medical kit. I smile slightly and grab the new sunglasses we were issued, putting them on as I head out to the Magnum, put my coffee in the holder and start to check out all the lighting. I do a quick car walk around, and then check all the equipment in the boot and close it, before starting the car, and heading out onto patrol.

*I return to the station and park my cruiser in its parking spot, and step out and walk into the station*

*I walk in the station and grab my new equipment and walk to my car and place my new equipment in the car and return back to my personal car and drive out of the lot to my house*

*I pull up to the lot and step out of my POV and walk over to my PC and jump in and head out for a patrol*

"PC-1 is available for callout, advise if any outstanding calls pending"

*I cruise around and await a response*

*I back my unit in and turn off the engine*

*I see one of the PPD officers*

'Hey, how are yall doing?'

'Good and you?'

'Another day in paradise'

*I grab my hat and jacket as I close the door and walk in the breakroom.*

*I open my locker and put my uniform up and hang my jacket on the hook.*

*I change into my civilian clothes and take my .45 and put it in my holster and put it on as I get into my jeep and head home*

*I back my jeep into a parking spot and head into the breakroom*

*I open my locker and put my uniform on and my duty belt*

*I get a message to go by the Truitt Sheriff's Department*

'Wonder whats up with that'

*I grab my hat and my jacket and head out to my car*

*I toss my gear in and get in and start it up and take off*

*I step into the station.*

'Officer Steve Morrigan, reporting for traffic duty.'

*The officer behind the counter nods and steps away to a key rack, returning with unit keys and paperwork.*

'Sign this here, and the rest is yours to keep. Stay safe.'

*I not to the officer and turn on a heel, headed for the parking lot.*

I pull CE-1 into the parking lot of the Station, parking extremely badly, and I climb out of the car, smiling as I do. I leave my door open and see the new Stealth Impala in its parking space, and like it, I see a new officer coming out and smile again.
'Hey, you Steve?' I ask, seeing his nametag I realise it is and continue. 'I'm Charlie, one of your mentors.' I offer my hand in a handshake.

I smile and offer a nod in reply.

'I'm Steve. Equipment looks solid. I gotta hand it to the TEC unit, they're sure keepin' em running like a clock. Nice to meet you.'

I take Charlie's hand in the shake.

'Well, sir, Whats our first order of business today?'

'Alright, well, we're on patrol in Trulit and Southside Trulit Road near the airport, gonna be checking up some commercials and standard traffic round there, cool with that?' I say to Steve as I head back to our car. 'Just follow us, and listen and you'll be good.' I add as I climb into CE-1, and prepare to leave the Station.

'You got it!'

I hop into Traffic 1 and turn the engine over.

"COPA, Traffic 1. Show me on duty training with CE-1."

*I walk into the Patrol Dvsn's Building in the complex and look at a sheet with notes I should remember.
'Excuse me, but where are the lockers?'
'Right Over there'
-the clerk says-
'Ok, Thank you.'
*I continue to look down reading the note and walking.
*I enter the room she pointed to and set my bag down on a bench and look for locker 26 and eventually find it.
*I place my bag inside and grab a few things such as a ticket book, my firearm, cuffs, and other equipment necessary for my duties as a patrol officer.
*I then close the locker and put the paper with notes in my pocket and walk towards the main room again and see a key rack, and look and find PC-4's keys and take them off the rack, and speak into my radio
"PC-4 on duty"
*I pull out of the complex and out onto the trulit interpass
*I walk out and start the engine of PC-4
*I hear the engine

I drive to work and arrive at the station, park my truck and head into ERT PD. I go to my locker and grab my swat gear and make sure everything is working in case I need it today.

*I park the car outside in its designated parking spot.
"PC4 Off Duty."
*I change the gear to park, roll up the windows, and turn the engine off.
*I open the driver's door and press the lock button and get out grabbing some personal items and changing into my civilian clothes in the lockeroom

*I walk in and remember from yesterday and walk over to my left where I remember the lockeroom is located.
*I enter and open my locker and place a few items, in, and take a few out changing into my uniform.
*I wave to the clerk as I head out to where the PCs are located and enter PC-4, unlocking it first.
*I put the key in the ignition and turn it sideways

*As it starts, I buckle my seat belt, crack the 2 front windows and pick up my radio
"PC-4 On Duty."

*I pull into the parking lot and walk in to the patrol room and pull out my laptop and begin typing up a report on what happened.*

*Once I finish my report I go grab a cup of coffee and join Linder while he types up his arrest report*

*I finish typing it up and look up and fall out of my seat when I see Laferty.
'Wooah, don't scare me like that.'
*I pull myself up using the desk.
'So uh hows it goin?'

*I try not to laugh*

'It's going, i'm about to head back out, do you need anything?'

*I say taking a sip from my coffee*

'Well I gotta go start school so Ima head home, so see ya later.'
*I walk into the lockeroom unlock my locker and change into my civilian clothes, and sling my pag across my left shoulder.
*I walk out the door and start walking home.

'Alright, be careful'

*I walk back to my car and get in*

"8 to dispatch: I will be back in service"


*A few hours later I back my cruiser into its parking spot and walk in the break room*

*I change into my civilian clothes and grab my weapon and put it in its holster as I walk out to my jeep and head home*

*I back my jeep into a parking spot and head into the breakroom*

*Agter I put my uniform on I get in my unit and drive over to the headquarter building.*

*I walk in and enter the room and go towards the lockeroom and set my bag down, change into my uniform and set my clothes in the locker. I then sling the bag again over my shoulder, after placing my firearm into its holster, along with a few other things. I think walk out the door towards PC4 and enter and begin eating my lunch, a little early.

After getting lost in the building I eventually find my way to the locker room. I grab all my equipment and head for the break room to wait for my partner. My name is Ryan and after being a firefighter for 3 years I wanted to give police work a try. Thats right...fresh out of the academy. I grab a strong cup of coffee and sit down to review all of the information I'll probably use on my first day.

(@R. Thomas, your unit, I think is TU-1, just head out the compound and head down the street, your partner is down there. On the MVA call.)

The desk sergeant walks over to Thomas. 'Officer Thomas? Your partner just called. He's stuck outside on an accident call. They're about a half block down. He said unknown when they'll be clear, but you're welcome to hoof it down if you like.'

I finish my coffee and begin making my way out of the building....this time I didn't get lost. I look down the b lock and see the MVA and it looks like a nasty one. I walk up to Officer Morrigan and introduce myself. "officer Ryan Thomas reporting sir. Where would you like me?"
