INTRUDER ALERT

SEE EAT. 11112010A

I finish gearing up, load up my pack, get my M16 and check the security cameras. They're going in the side door it looks...

"Be advised suspects attempting entry via Side B door. Requesting units gear up and report inside immediately in teams. Treat as a hostage rescue. DC on scene and assisting."

"ALS 1 on stand by" I say into the radio."Get the steretcher ready"I say to my crew. "DC should I stage two blocks away" I ask over the radio.

I turn my siren off about a mile away from the complex,then turn off my lights.
"PC 8 is on scene"
I block off one of the entrances with my squad car, grab my shotgun from the back of my car. Then I climb back in my squad car and drive up to the main building and sit and wait for TAC or COPA to arrive.

"Remain in Depot."

"Recieve"

"Copy that Burke"

I walk down the hall from my quarter office to the lookover at the main window. I see the car parked out there, and I see one cruiser waiting outside. "All police units, return to HQ immediately"
Off in the distance I see the flashing red and blue of the state troopers and hopefully some of my men. As soon as the RRT can get in here, I'm gonna be safer.

*As I get closer to the HQ I see other police units from different departments arrive. I get the radio mic again and ask:*

"PC-7 to command, where do we enter, over?"

"PC8 to PC7 I am located on side A of the building, you can pull up behind me.

"10-4 on that" *I answer on the radio. I turn onto Trulit Interpass Road to get into position. I decide to park across the street at the former ERT Agency base because I still have the detained guy in the back. He's getting a bit worried now as he realises I'll have to leave him alone. Suits him right...
I park my car in the agency parking lot and turn the engine off. I unlock my shotgun and check that it's still ready to be fired before I exit my car and lock it. My prisoner is yelling for me to stay with him and that he'll get shot here, I just give him a look of disbelief and turn away.
I cross the road and jog over to where I can see officer Linda staged with his squad car. I walk up to him.*

'Hey Linda, are we gonna have a goddamn firefight here? Have you seen the attackers?'

I stay crouched behind my squad car and look ove at Halls and say,' COPA said that they went through a side door and I drove up here in stealth mode so I bet they didn't see me. I sure hope we don't get onto a shootout. Hope TAC gets here soon.'

*I sit crouched besides Linda with my shotgut in my hands.*

'Do we know what arms they are carrying? I didn't catch the whole transmission, I was trying to gather the details for the last job we were on. I even have the suspect still in my car!'

'The EAT says that they have assault rifles, and there are two suspects'

'If that's the case then our shotguns and standard ballistic vests aren't gonna be much help... Better stay clear if we can. I hope TAC is rolling...'

*I stand up halfway and peer over the roof of Linda's car. I can't see the suspects inside the lit courtyard of ERT HQ...*

'Yeah definitely need to stay back, did you see any movement at all when you were coming over here?' I ask as I adjust my footing hoping that they don't come out of the building while were the only ones here.

'Nah, didn't see anything. I thought I heard some sirens in the distance though, but I didn't see any other units or the attackers...'

((Sorry for the delay!!))

**I pull up near PC7 and get out with full assault gear. My UMP45 is in my hand, and the M16-45 is in the trunk. I have my sidearm, some mace, two flashbang grenades, and my communications gear.**

'Halls, do you know what we're dealing with? All I heard is at least two suspects with automatic weapons. Do we know where?'

"pc-6 on scene."

*I hop out with my shotgun and go up to the other guys.*

'Hey,havent scene you guys for a while.'

'Unfortunate way to meet, Libor. Who's going to be in command? And does anyone have any information on the location of the suspects?'

**I check my gun quickly.**

"COPA, are you secure? What information do you have?"

((TSD shows up and watches the guy in back.. They'll take him into custody so we don't abandone him... leaving a detainee unwatched is a HUGE no no... Also Bridwell is back bucello too))

I walk to an empty office on the third floor and use the PA system.
'This is the ERT. Please drop your weapons and surrender. If you fail to comply, you may be killed. This is a major crime, and will result in life in prison, or capital punishment,'

"COPA is locked down, dc1 is in gear searching third floor, fully armed"

"McGuire to Burke and PD Units, be advised me and the rest of BLS-1 is in the break room. We are safe here and available, we'll remain in this building until scene is safe. EMS, please clear the frequency for police traffic."

*I walk over to the door with BLS-1's keys, and lock it. I lock the activate a secondary lock on the main door to the building, shut off the lights and go around the window to watch, keeping my distance though so we are not seen.*

"Transmission received. If I can get one of my OIC's to talk to the arriving mutual aide officers, I can get them to get to aplha base with EMS and a couple officers from ERT to suit up in TAC gear for entry or standby outside if needed"

I walk out of the room, with them now knowing I'm here. My mobile unit informs me that the side B exit has been breached, so they're inside and not stopping. I relay this info to the units through EAT, urgent alert (all eat terminals beep and the red light flashes)

'Bucello I can suit up if you have extra gear'

((Cadets may report to the building and will be under Libor's command. Cadets are considered fully legal LEO's, with guns and what not, just not fully official to run alone in the ERT )

'Linda, get some more specialized gear - only what you're trained to use - and be prepared to assist. Libor and I will be going in.'

**I check quickly to see if Libor is behind me, then I turn the handle on the door and move inside. I keep my gun up and move quickly and quietly through the halls.**

"COPA, we're in the building and conducting a search. All units in the building, go silent. Do not fire unless I give the OK or you are under threat."

I grab my shotgun out of the trunk and run to Linda's car. I combat roll behind it with Halls an aim my pistol at the door; my shotgun will have terrible range here. "Halls, what the Hell's going on here?"

"Units, I see suspects approaching the main break room on first floor. Be advised, secure garage area. I'm heading in. Bridwell is with me, intercepted him from the second floor"

((He's supposed to be back, so I'm godmodding him until he appears))

**I begin moving towards the break room. As I turn around the corner, a tall, masked figure turns to face me. He brings up a large gun and starts firing in my direction.**

"Bucello to all units: WEAPONS FREE! WEAPONS FREE! Suspect is armed with an RPK light machine gun, and I'm pinned down near the break room."

**I take a stun grenade off of my belt and toss it around the corner. When it goes off, I bolt across the hall and try the door to the break room - only to realize that it's locked. I run back to my position at the other side of the hall, dodging more supressing fire.**

I hear the gun shots, pull my rifle up and make a bolt downstairs. I take the fire stairwell, bringing me into the empty garage.

*I hear gunshots thundering inside the building from my position behind the squad car. I duck down so I barely peek over the trunk. I turn to officer Stabler who is crouching beside me.*

'The attackers are inside the compound now, that's automatic fire we're hearing. God damn it... Do we hang back or move up?'

**I kneel and peek around the corner with my UMP45 - there's the suspect! I fire a three round burst at his chest and he goes down. I get up quickly and run over to where he is. As I get near him, he starts to pick himself up; he's wearing body armor. I take out my can of mace and spray it in his face. Enough mace gets through the mask and hits his eyes, so he can't see and is back on the ground.**

'Libor, can you cuff him?'

"COPA, one suspect is in custody near the break room. Be advised that the other suspect is probably wearing body armor."

*I kick the gun away and kneel on his head pinning him down and cuff him*

"One supect cuffed,can we get someone to pick up or should we bring him down?"

*I grab 4 clips off the supspect including two side arms.*

"Linda, if you're suited up, we need you to pick up a suspect near the break room. One is still at large. COPA, is it possible that the attack is an appempt to destroy our Command and Control, that there might be something else going on?"

**I wait for a response.**

'Libor, we're going to want to set up for defense. Keep the corner covered; I'll keep my eye on the far end of the hallway.'

**I keep my UMP45 aimed down the length of the hallway and regret not bringing my M16-45, which has more range. In any case, I need to be ready in case the other suspect comes through the hall.**

"All law enforcement units in the building, weapons free. Suspects are wearing body armor, so target unarmored areas. Libor and I are positioned outside of the break room on the first floor. Identify your targets before firing."

*I gear up in what tactical gear I have and head in the door with my shotgun pointing everywhere*
I get up towards the suspect and say in a low voice your coming with me quietly. We get out side and he gets put in the TSD patrol car.

*i look around the corner and to my relief see nothing*

I check around COPA M-1 and then I hear a door pop open. I drop to the ground and kill my radio.

The man isn't in ERT gear, so I unlock my rifle and wait for him to walk by. Sure enough he clears past, with no notice of me. I run up, jump behind him, shove him down and point the rifle straight at his face before he makes a move for the gun he dropped.

'Don't even think about it, one move you're dead.'
He lies in completely stillness
"This is DC, requesting all units report to the garage immediately, suspect under armed custody, need assistance"
'You are officially under arrest for attempted murder of federal officers, illegal trespassing, illegal use of arms, and a few other charges. You're going to sit here very comfortabley until an officer comes to arrest you. Stay put' I say with my weapon trained on his forehead

'MOVE! MOVE! Get over to the garage NOW!'

**I take off down the hallway, glancing over my shoulder to see if Libor is behind me. I hear his footsteps behind my own.**

"Linda, stay outside with the suspect. All other units, report to the garage NOW."

**I open the door to the garage. Beside a parked car is Burke with the suspect beside him. I get beside the suspect and quickly search him, finding a Markov pistol and spare ammunition clips, as well as some extra clips for his Type 81 Light Machine Gun.**

'Any trouble, sir?'

'Nope, jackass didn't even see me. Slap some cuffs on him, I'll take him out front. This was my old job before I got a desk job, I think I can handle it. You take your men, do a sweep, make sure the rest of the building is clear.'

I yank up the fool by his zip cuffs and drag him out the bay door for DC-1. Around the corner, I see a wall of police lights, and as we get out front, about 10 different officers run to help me. I hand him over, someone takes him, and I take in the damage. The front gate is wrecked, along with part of the fence. About 20 differnet cruisers from PPD, TSD, State, unmakred and apparently a few FBI cruisers line the road and parking areas, and I see my own units around the front, as well as the TAC RRT and the state's SWAT team setting up on the other end of the plaza to assist.

I flash a quick salute to the boys, then go in the front door to check for my own sake.

((Quick question - who will be on-site commander?))

**I cuff the suspect and start moving him outside.**

"This is Bucello to all law enforcement personnel. We're conducting a sweep of the building for explosives and other potential suspects. *switch channel* COPA, if you aren't busy, we might need fire and rescue to stand by in case one of the suspects left us a suprise. I advise that we don't lift the lockdown yet, but that's your call. *switch channel*"

**I head back inside and start the tedious search for explosives.**

((As I stated, TAC takes lead, obviously though I have completel authoritative control, being higher rank than everyone else.))

"Don't know about COPA, but last time I checked, our boys were busy, so we'd have to call in another department for the standby alert"

"Understood. I'd just feel a lot better if we had fire and rescue standing by."

**I continue the search for explosives. After a while, it seems like the first floor is safe, that there are no explosives.**

"Is anyone else going to help me? I have more floors to search."

"understood, Industrial station is sending over a pumper on standby.. I'm on floor 2, conducting search in the restricted offices with the PPD. If there is anywhere you can't get in, lemme know."

'The break room is locked, but that was locked since the intruders were first spotted. We'll unlock that last. I'll join you upstairs.'

**I go into the stairwell; a search reveals nothing, and I continue upstairs.**

'By the way, where is out bomb disposal equipment stored?'

"McGuire to TAC, I believe I heard somebody attempting to make entry to the break room, if that was you guys, just be advised BLS-1 crew is in here everything is still good here. I locked that myself for security."

"Understood, McGuire, this is Bucello. We'll be going in there shortly to check for explosives; we're still searching the rest of the building."

((You do know that locked door almost got me shot, right?))

"Second floor secured rooms are still secure"

((True.))

'Understood; what's left to search besides the break room?'

I get out of my car and grab my shotgun
"Bucello, need any help there?"

"Wolf, we'll need your assistance searching the grounds for explosives. You can put your shotgun away; you won't need it."

**I continue the search for esplisives. Not very exciting...**

"The ground floor is clear, except the break room. If you're going in there, ask McGuire to unlock the door for you. He locked himself in for safety."
