TVFD On scene, OSC: Chief Frank Hill

Squad one will be needed for SAR for missing child, believed in bushes near by. Raven will lead search with assistance from once deputy sherrif. If not found, Squad one will enter when cleared by OSC.

"Squad 1 On-scene"

**I exit the squad side door**

"What do you want me to do Lieutenant?"

S-1 TO, please meet with Chief Hill of TVFD, just to get a run down, deputy Campbell will be with him. He'll be assisting search and rescue

"We're going to take two parties. Mitch you take Jansen and search the tree line take a TIC we're going to search the field, Davis and myself will search out side." I say and activate the trucks search lights then go talk to the deputy and cheif. "COPA be advised we have a 6 year old boy, red tee shirt and blue trousers, made it out okay but may have gone back in, answers to Joey. Last seen ten to fifteen minutes ago. We've got dense brush though." "Squad one to ladder one when you get here install your ladder, we're going to do a sweep with a TIC and use a search light. Pumper 11, we're going to to an outdoor sweep. We'll have you split into two more teams and search around the house. If we can't find him we'll get dogs out here."

"Ok, Come on Jansen, lets start looking. Let me get the TIC first though"

**I go to the Squad and grab the TIC**

"Lets go"

**We start searching**

S-1, do not enter the structure!

It's too unstable and firery, please do external search first

"Joey! Call out if you can hear me!" I yell and look around with my maglite. "COPA start me a BLS ambulance if any are available."

Copy that, I'll see if BLS-2 is inservice, if not, I'll have BLS-1 come once cleared

"Joey, Can you hear us? Were here to help you, come out please. Joey My name is Mitch i'm a firefighter for the ERT, would you like to come and see all the fire trucks? I'll give you a tour!"

**We keep searching**

"pc-5 on scene" I turn on my rear traffic advisors, and set up a perimeter with cones. I warn all passerby to keep clear of the scene, and to keep an eye out for the missing boy.

Pumper 11 on scene.
*I jump out of the engine and grab two flashlights, put my SCBA on and me and Lidner go up to the Lt. Raven.*
"Lt., which side should we take?"

"Central, I see a boy in ripped clothes running within the back yard. I am going to investigate!" I pull out my flashlight and run over to check it out.

I see the kid and Stabler.
"I think Stabler found him."
*I walk over to the kid with Stabler.*

**I walk over to Hannahan, Tabler and the kid**

"Hey Joey, I'm Mitch and I'm a Fiefighter, Are you hurt anywhere?"

"Nah" He Replies

"Ok looks like just a couple of cuts and bruises"

To COPA:
"How far away is BLS-1?"

"COPA we have found the child, possibly injured."

I get the EMS jump bag and carry it over to the guys.
"I got this for you if you want it."

"BLS-1 on scene. I'm parking behind your squad truck."

*I drive past the road block and come to a stop behind Squad 1. I turn off the lights, turn off the engine, grab a portable and get out. I walk around and open the back doors.*

"McGuire to Raven, you guys want to walk or carry the kid down to BLS-1 and I'll give him a quick eval?"

**Get's a flashlight and First Aid Kit and runs over to the action. Now how about we take care of the fire?

*I throw on my bunker gear and run over by Mitch.*

"How is he? It looks like he'll be okay. Burke, just tell us when we could go inside."

*I go and lay out some axes and pikepoles and stuff like that to get ready for the interior search.*

**I drop the First Aid Kit for the kid and walk over to Davis,** "You wanna move in?"

"No, Burke said the stucture was too unstable. Ask Garcia if you guys can get some lines or the deck gun on the fire."

Units, please await arrival of L1 to take down extra fire. When Garcia gives the go ahead you guys can enter, though it's unneccesary now we've found the kid

*Grabs a portable and a set of irons as i step out of the ladder truck*
"Beard here requesting an assignment"

"I think Burke wants you guys to knock down the fire a little more. Let's get on that ladder."

*I go and help Bruce put down the outriggers.*

(the ladder is on scene right? i assumed so since davis is here)
*i spin the ladder around and raise it just ubove the roof line*

I get out the supply line and wrenches and hook 'em up. I take off crosslays and and they fill up.
"Lt, If it's too unstable, we should perform an exterior attack right?"
*I spray the burning hedges and other brush.*

*grabs a chain saw and an axe and climbs the ladder to start a vent for the smoke and fire*

*I hop off the Truck and take a look at the scene, I then grab our 4" line and go to the pumper and connect the line with the pump and the other end to the Ladder*

((Davis is S-1.. signature anyone?))

S-1 Officer, can I get an update on the boy?
Fire OSC, what's the current situation?

(my apoligys my cell phone doesnt load the signature all i could see was his patch on his helmet)

I spray into the window on the lower floor.

*climb down off the ladder, and start throwing ground ladders*

"Beard, I don't think we should go inside. It's unstable."
*I spray the inside of the house and also spray the ceiling.*
"The ceiling is lighting up guys. The flame are hitting it."

"10-4"
*i pull the leaver for the gun on the ladder, possition the ladder up high uboce the house and start hitting the flames*
"i'm gunna hit it high!"

"It's gettin hotter."
*I back up and kneel down so I could still get in the window.*

*i say over the radio "hannahan is there any way you can set up an unmand master stream down there"*

*I say back to Beard "Negative, I don't think I can unless someone takes my line and then I could get on the deck gun or unless the Lt says I could. Hold tight up there."

"10-4"
*I start blasing the heavy spots of fire*
"hannahan watch out for debrea flyin off the roof"

"Alright, Give me a heads up when you see anything."
*A part of the gutter falls off but I'm far back enough not to be affected*
*I say over the radio to everyone "Everyone, Debris is starting to fall off the side of the house and from the roof. Be careful.*

"all units be advised the roof is begining to colaps"
*I fire the master stream straight through the vent hole i cut*

I back up 50 ft. and continue spraying.

ladder 1 to command do we have any ladders from the city that can set another master streams

(Sorry beard, You can't ask COPA anything until you a Lt, or captain. Sorry man)
*A piece of shingle and another pice of gutter falls down and I spray that*

(i ment the commanding officer on the scene)
*i reposition the ladder down and closer to the roof and spray the water directly into the colapest part of the roof*

(Oh sorry)
"The fire is retreating towards the right side of what looks like the living room."

*i shut the masterstream down and move the ladder over to the right of the house and cut a large vent hole, turn the masterstream back on and fire it straight through the new vent hole*
"ladder 1 advising fire is knocked down and comfined to what looks to be a couch from up here"

"I see it from here. I don't think this house could be saved. Sounds like it'll come down."
I spray the weakened window to the house and spray into the room.

*i shut down the master stream and climb down the ladder, grab a 9 foot hook and start to pull what remains of siding off the side of the house checking for out side extention*
"ladder 1 to rescue 1, can we get somone over here to check the stability of the house so we can start over haul"

I say over the radio "COPA says it's unstable and I've heard it creak a lot. Lt, should we wait for the building to collapse?"
(Beard, we might need to wait a bit till a lieutenant or COPA tells us what to do. We've been doing things by ourself for 30 minutes lol.)

"When stability is checked, than I think we could go inside and do a search."
