Car Fire

p-11 due
Smoke spreading to tall watch tower need tree house. Home built made of wood. L-1 standby for initial op from P-11

Pc 6 arriving.

"L-1 standing by."

((Oh wait, isn't that your job to issue standby, Ewan?))

I arrive at the fire.
"Pumper 11 on scene."

"Central patrol 2 is going to be on scene"

*i walk up to libor. "Hey can you move your car to the west of the fire and block off traffic and ill take the east."

"Hannahan let your lt know that if he needs anythign come and find me ill be east of the house blocking traffic libors got the west side."

*I take my car to the east side and begin to re-direct traffic*

"K Starling, I'll let him know."
*I grab a hydrant wrench and a spanner (put it in my pocket) and the supply line and bring it to the closest hydrant which is in front of a house. I use the spanner to open the cap and screw the supply line onto the hydrant. I turn on the pump and use the hydrant wrench to let the water flow. I pull one crosslay off the truck, charge it and wait for someone to pick it up.
(I'll be in charge of the pump panel for now)

*Anders goes and picks up the crosslay while Galligano gaets behind him to back him up. Casey picks another crosslay and heads to the back of the house with the treehouse. I start to charge the line as he stands by. (hope i didn't god mod too much. )

I grab the line and start to move the car guiding Anders on his first big fire. You know what to do probie! *Got it*

"Boys be advised, I was just talking to the RP, he owns the GMC C4500 that's burning, the fire was started by faulty wiring. Battery is probably burned out now, but you might wanna watch it. Thing will burn quickly and I don't want it to spread to that tower. Just incase it does we've got L-1 on standby at the station"

*I hear DCBurke on the radio.*
"Good."
*The fire is starting to die down in the car but spread to the bushes surrounding the drive way*

Okay Anders. Come on move in and and hit that son of a bi*ch

Reference to delted post(I don't think you could do that unless DCBurke says you can or if Lt. Garcia says you can so wait. Can't request vehicles either. sorry you're not high enough.)

*I see the car go up in flames and I help Anders move forward to get more water on the fire.*

That tower is wood and old, it could catch real quick, then we've got worries of it burning out and collapsing. You might need extra man power if that happens

*I take the Halligan Tool of the passanger side of the rig and begin to rip the car apart with SCBA Mask.* As I open the hood, I see small flames, a lighter that spilled fluid and some burnt up card board . I then inform Lt. Garcia.

*I see the tree trunk (i mean near the bottom) catch fire as I keep spraying down the car.I leave the line to Anders and run to get the other crosslay and start spraying the tree trunk*

You can't command us. You told me that you're on the hose with Anders if you look at post number 11.

(I continue to wet down and watch over the tower and the tree house.)

"Fire spread to the treehouse and it's really close to being fully involved but the car fire's almost extinguished."
*I kneel down and aim at the base of the fire near the treehouse.*

"All right guys, that tree is lost, move to protecting anything else near the tree, if it spreads anymore we're rolling out."

**I hit the treehouse exposures with a 2 1/2**

*I see a small bush on fire and move closer to put it out. I look over to see another bushh catching fire and I quickly put that out before it burn too much.*
"I think it's contained but the reason this keeps flaring up is because of the burnt leaves from the treehouse. You don't want me to keep puttin' it out?"

No man, knock yourself out!

Hannahan protect any exposures" I say over the radio.

((hey guys just an FYI i'm on the ladder not the pumper therefore I am still at the station on standby...))

*I turn the nozzle to the right and wet up some plants so it'll be harder to catch on fire.*

Traffic taken care of on the west side.

"Galligano, get back. You are not allowed to do anything. I'm going to put out the request for L-1 now."

"Just do damage control, anything that's not on fire, get it wet, hit it with another crosslay, don't just have 1 hose out."

I run to the side of the pumper and pull out a blue crosslay. Hannahna, CHARGE THE LINE!. I run up to the car's surrounding objects and get stuff wet!

"We have three crosslays out sir."
*I go to the pump and charge the third line. I then go back to my line and keep spraying.*
"Can someone man this line so I could man the pump?"

Lader one ((Bitches ^^)) responding Code 2 to car fire for man power support.

Walt, take Hannahan's line!

"Ladder one on scene" I say and jump off, and run a 3" from the back of the engine to the front of the ladder.

"Galligano, your restrictions will begin after this call. I'll start a 2 1/2 handline until we get truck."

**I pull the 2 1/2" hose, yell "Hose!" with a few runbacks for a total of 150', attach the nozzle, and brace myself before i open it.**

"WATER!"

**I begin spraying the vehicle.**

((We don't have 3". 4" is supply or exposure loop for the monitor, 2 1/2 is your attack/supply. Take the 4" supply off your truck and connect it to our pump))

"You got full pressure water Garcia" I say as I guard the pump.

"Hey Hannahan, your good to help, have Galligano do that."

"Alright Garcia"
*I help Garcia with the line by getting behind him just in case he want to move forward*

"Hey Garcia I have a person saying he is the owner of the truck and his wife called to let him know whats going on where do you want him?"

"Anything I could do? Maybe I should clear the surrounding brush so that it doesn't catch fire."

I take Hannahan's place at the pump. Davis, you ready for water!?

**I go & start clearing the surrounding brush with Davis so they don't catch fire**

"Need any help Garcia, all I'm doing is ripping up this brush."

I'm guessing you thhink your'e line is charged.

**I keep ripping up the brush**

I'll help you Daniels. I grab a chainsaw and start cutting up brush so the fire won't spread.
"Watch for falling wood."

"Alright, I'm ready for some water! Charge it , Hanahan!"

**I go and stand behind Davis to help him with the water**

((These things do not people minding the unit, they handle it via computer on board that is automated. No pump minder needed))
