"Burke, this is surveillance-1 at 154 Second, we've got 6 members inside, one just left our sights, he may be down and out, or maybe just downstairs. Move your units in now"

**I arrive at the rally point with the rest of the RRT team. Behind me, the HR truck pulls into the parking lot.**

"COPA, do we have any blueprints of the house that can be used for planning purposes?"

"None, the ones on file are old and outdated, and surveillance have confirmed to be completely useless, and they've seen missing walls, new walls, and all sorts. Residential houses aren't required to submit new plans when they take down inner walls, so this house was likely totally restructured to throw us off in the event of a raid. check the info surveillance sent over and see what you can do with it."

*I walk to the back of the truck and grab my sniper case*

'Hey boss, I suppose you want me to snipe? Or do you want me at entry?'

I look over to Thomas. 'I'm buying the warrant call. Code 1, so take it slow. We'll be waiting for SWAT to clear everything, but keep a sharp eye.'

"Traffic 1 responding to High Risk Warrant"

'Booth, according to my map, there's a row of single story houses across the street from the house we're supposed to enter, and a quick check shows that they've all been put under foreclosure. Hardly ideal, but that's all we have in terms of a sniping position. Get in place from the rear, and make sure you don't move in front of the house. I'll work out an entry plan.

'10-4 boss, I'll go through these back yards'

*I grab my case and walk to the fence and jump a couple of them until I find the perfect house, I find it and climb the ladder that happened to be there, which amazed me, I get up on the roof and lie on my stomach open the case and grab my sniper*

"Booth in position"

"Alright, nicely done. If you think you're spotted, clear the roof immediately and get a taxi to the ERT base. Don't return to the rally point or use a police vehicle, or you'll compromise the entire raid."

**I draw out what I believe to be the front of the first and second floors of the house.**

"10-4 Booth Recieves, so far no suspects in sight..."

*I continue to watch the house for suspects*

Thomas and I pull up at the meeting point and I head over to Bucello. We're here for the scene. Whatever you need, let us know."

"Booth to Lt. Bucello one in sight facing away from me, he has a gun in the back of his pants, be careful when heading in"

"6 in the area."

*I pull into the staging area. I type some stuff out on my computer, then get out.*

*I pull into the staging area and park at the front as instructed. I then hop out of the cab and get into the back of the unit. I pull out the trauma kit and O2 and set them out on the stretcher. I then head over to Bucello.*

"I'm ready."

'Alright, this is what we're going to do: me, Martins and Libor will approach the main door. Morrigan is to announce over the bullhorn that we are police officers serving a high risk warrant. Once that announcement is made, the door goes down and we go in. We clear the main floor first, front and left to back and right. After the main floor is cleared, flood the basement with tear gas to incapacitate anyone downstairs before going upstairs. We don't have the manpower to clear both floors at once. Clear the upstairs in the same fashion before moving to the basement. If anyone has a weapon drawn, Libor is to use the K9 to subdue the shooter. If any officers are injured, the marksman has orders to take out the suspect. Understand?'

**I radio Booth to summarize the plan.**

"Booth, this is Bucello. The team will clear the house as follows: ground floor, second floor, basement. If an officer is injured or killed, you are authorized to shoot the gunman. Acknowledge."

I nod to Bucello. "On you, Lieutenant."

'We probaly shouldn't announce that we are doing a high risk warrant before we are inside. This is a no knock situation.'

'Libor, a no-knock warrant only means that we don't have to wait for someone to come to the door. We're required to identify ourselves as police officers. Otherwise, the raid could get mistaken for a violent home invasion. Not an issue now, perhaps, but that's how procedure goes. We just broadcast "Police, search warrant!" and then take the door down without missing a beat. They won't have time to react.'

'well, from where I'm from that's just a normal entry/search warrant.

'Well, lieutenant, they're lucky they aren't getting sued for everything they have. A "regular" warrant is called knock-and-announce. That means you knock on the door, identify yourself, and give the occupants a chance to open the door. We're doing a no-knock raid. That means once we're identified, that door comes in and we pour through like there's no tomorrow. In any case, you and the rest of the entry team have the orders. Once we get an acknowledgement from Booth, we move to the door. I'll radio Morrigan to make the broadcast. Then, I'll break down the door, and you send the dog in, and we'll go in.'

**I go to the RRT truck and get the M16, which supports underbarrel attachments, and secure a Masterkey door-breaching shotgun underneath. Everyone else is armed with a UMP.**

'Alright, sounds like a plan.'

'Sergeant Martins reporting for duty, may i get a quick sitrep?'

'Ford, I'm going to change the plan. Morrigan is to keep onlookers away from the house after the raid. You are to announce over the loudspeaker just before the raid that we're with the police and we're executing a warrant. Once you say that, we immediately go in.'

((Still waiting for Booth to respond.))

"Alright I'm coming over to you just let me know where you want me and when to talk." I say as I head over to Bucello.

'Get into the passenger's seat of the Heavy Rescue truck and wait for the "go" signal from me. Then just turn on the bullhorn and say in a loud voice, "Police! Search warrant!" That's all you have to do.'

"Units what's the situation. Do we have any patrol units that will be supporting and securing the scene in their cars?"

I nod in understanding at the revised plan and double check my duty belt to be sure all my equipment is ready. I hear the broadcast and reach for my mobile. "Copy COPA, Traffic 1 is here, Morrigan for crowd control. Officer Thomas will be ready with the vehicle."

"Am I to wait here until the raid is complete or do I move up once entry is made? I understand that I can't enter until the house is secure."

'Don't move out until you are called to the scene. Once the house is secured, the rally point moves to the front of the building, but you wait to be called up.'

'So, sir, how many TAC units we have here.'

"Got it."

*I start to let my mind wander a little, not caring about the police part of the briefing.*

'It's you and me, Manuel. Booth is in position as our marksman, and the rest of TAC has leave indefinately. That's why Libor is with us.'

"Booth copies, I still have eyes on a suspect"

*I keep my sights on the suspect as I await for TAC to initiate the warrant*

((Thanks for the response, but I was referring to the fact that about half of the team just randomly packed up and left us.))

'Alright, we have acknowledgement. Everyone on me. Crouch and stay in cover. Once the announcemeng comes over the loudspeaker, I'm taking the door off its hinges and Libor will lead the way with the K9.'

**I crouch with my M16-45 and Masterkey attachment as I shuffle over towards the house, moving behind parked cars and bushes. It's not long before I'm standing by the front door, with my team behind me. The dog that Libor has is remarkably quiet. I whisper into my radio.**

"Ford, begin the broadcast. Go."

((And you've officially wasted five days. You have 8 hours to move into the house and if you don't, I'm going to shut down the call. People get bored, so don't waste time. Lets move now.))

"Copa gives the go orders, you've got about a 3 minute window, then we've lost our chance"
(Five minutes is going to translate to the 8 hours, then I'm RP-ing you guys missed the boat, and blew the op.)

**I patiently await the signal, but it doesn't come. Did Ford ignore me? Did the radio not transmit? I radio again, but nothing happens. I determine that my radio is broken. I'll announce the raid.**

'POLICE! SEARCH WARRANT!'

**I raise the Masterkey and fire twice at the top and bottom hinges. I then elbow the door and watch it fall into the foyer. There's a person with a gun holster sitting in the next room. I raise my assault rifle.**

'On the ground! Hands up!' **I keep my distance and wait for Libor to send in the dog.** 'Hands up! Don't reach for anything!'

((Sorry about the delay, but it's tough when people only log on once every two or three days. Really tough to do a raid in any decent amount of time.))

"Booth to command, I have one man armed in the dining room he has his firearm aimed towards his right which i am guessing is the entry way for that room, be careful, if he shoots, I am taking the shot"

*I aim my sights and get ready to shoot*

Thomas and I pull up to the scene and scan the area. Some neighbors look out their windows, but no one seems too keen on coming near. 'good', I think to myself, 'everyone's being safe.'

**The man is at first frozen, unsure of what to do, but then quickly moves to the other side of the table, ducking down and moving his gun up, which had been hidden from my line of sight before. I fire two tree round bursts that barely miss his head, but force him to duck lower. He fires a shot wildly, over all of our heads.**

"One suspect in the dining room, shots have been fired."

((I'm going to bed and won't be back until between 7 and 9 eastern. Don't kill me while I'm gone.))

*I release the dog on him*

'get him!'

*the dog does as trained very well, going under the table unseen and going for the trigger arm.*

'clear the room now.'

**I go around the dog into the next room, which is a kitchen, but has been expanded. It's clearly being used to make some products for drugs as well as food for the house's occupants. The kitchen is empty, so I pull out my handcuffs and secure the suspect's hands.**

"One in custody, no injuries."

**I lift the suspect up.**

'Can we get one of the patrol officers to remove this guy? I don't want to carry a whole bunch of suspects behind us.'

Thomas and I exit the car and head toward the dining room in the building. "Copy that Lieutenant." I make sure that Thomas has me covered as we enter the room. I reach for the cuffs and take the man off Bucello's hands. I nod to the Lieutenant and Thomas and I bring the man back outside.

Thomas pats the man down, and finds his ID to run.

"1152 to Tac, be advised, there may be a methamphetamine lab in the building."

"Understood, 1152, thanks for the heads up."

**With the suspect out, I lead the team into the next room, again using the Masterkey to shoot it open. The room is filled with what seem to be lockers, and he is rifling through one, pulling out a weapon. I turn my M16 around and hit him on the side before pulling the rifle away.**

'I need a set of cuffs over here!'

'got them.'

*I toss my first set of cuffs over.*

*the dog signals towards a locker #5.*

'let's check #5'

**I take Libor's handcuffs and secure the suspect before using the last shot in my Masterkey to shoot the lock off of the locker before I start reloading. I pull the door open and let the dog sniff out the contents.**

*The dog "points" at it, a signal for explosives.*

'We're clear, common chemicals in explosives, probaly for drugs. Lets keep moving.'

'One more room on this floor. After this, we gas out the basement and move upstairs.'

((I am, of course, referring to tear gas. We lob tear gas canisters into the basement so that we can be safe in clearing the upstairs.))

**I open the door and find only the living room. It's empty.**

"First floor clear. Stand by; we're going to gas out the basement."

**I take a tear gas canister and open the door to the basement before tossing it downstairs.**

'We need more gas! More gas!'

*The other TAC guys toss gas downstairs and we quickly begin to head upstairs.*

'On you Bucello!'
