Not real, though; it was staged for the "Every 15 Minutes" drunk driving awareness campaign. It was very realistic, though; we had the county fire and rescue cut the cars open and the "injured" left by ambulance. One was even MEDEVAC'd by a US Park Police helicopter.

When a helicopter lands in your school's parking lot, it's the best day of your life (assuming no one is actually hurt).

That..is..sweet! We're doing that for my EMT class on Friday. MCV (A class 3 trauma hospital) is bringing/landing their helicopter at my Tech school and we're having a simulated 4 car MVA in the basketball section of the school. Cosmetetology students will dress people up as the injured and we'll have two ambulances for us to ride in.

Sounds sweet! When I go to college, I'm going to Texas A&M, best firefighting school in the world. I wonder if they do stuff like that there, I doubt it though because it's more industrial firefighting.

Nope, Actually the best school for fire science /fire engineering tech is Eastern Kentucky University. It offers 4 BS degree programs, and 2 MS programs.

quantity isn't the same as quality....not that I'm saying either of you are right or wrong just a statement....and you could argue with a million people over this it's like when people ask if yale or harvard is better...everyone has a different opinion and you can't prove which is better.

Correction: Texas A&M is one of the best firefighting schools in the world. My dad was training with guys from China and stuff. But if EKU is number 1, then I think I know where I'm going for college! Razz
