Think about it like this. They can also be thousands of years behind us. i agree with you that there has to be other intelligent life out there. they might have even tried to contact us. but there is no doubt area 51 is real but i would like to think that the US govt with there unlimited budget for black projects has a top secret location that no one knows about (and preferably one where there aren't thousands of pictures and videos of it online). But area 51 is just an aircraft testing ground.

Yeah there are plenty of other facilities that are as secret if not more secret then Area 51 that most people don't know about the reason everyone knows about area 51 is well if your exploring the desert or flying through the desert you run into this big square on the map where it basically says don't go here theres nothing here.....thats suspicious and people are going to assume the craziest espeically when roswell was near there.....if the roswell incident accured near a base in florida they wouldn't think that base had aliens

you might be asked once to divert if you were lucky but if you ignored it you would be shot down it's pretty clearly marked on aviation maps

Since it's a no-fly-zone, any planes etc. approaching it's airspace would probably initially be contacted by radio and told to alter course, then if this is not complied to the air force would probably intercept.

Any intruders on ground risk being apprehended by local guards.

yeah it depends alot on your level of threat to...if you accidently fly in while your in like a ultra lite there not going to shoot you down but there gonna scare you away...if you fly in with a boeing 747 and your not reporting a transponder and your flying low and fast...your getting shot down.....same if you walk in looking like a actual lost hiker or something they might detain you and send you away but there not gonna shoot you...if you look like your sneaking in there gonna be alot more hostile towards you
