'Yeah, not a problem'

*I walk over to the guy*

'Alright, why did you run?'

'I got scared'

'Scared of what?'

'That I would get in trouble'

'Trouble for what?'

'What I did. . '

'What did you do?'

*He begins to cry*

'I beat up my wife pretty bad, and she said she was going to call yall'

'Why did you beat her?'

'She accused me of cheating and I lost control'

'Ok, you just hang right here'

*I walk over to Booth*

'Apparently he beat his wife, because she accused him of cheating, i'm sure there is more behind it. And was afraid we were there to arrest him'

'Alright, I'm going to drive over to his house and see the wife and see what happened'

"PC-1 to COPA, I'm going to drive over to 1589 3rd Ave. and see if this so called assault happened"

*I walk to my car and jump in and head over to the suspects house code 3 since for all I know she could be bleeding to death or already dead*
-----------------Few Minutes Later----------------------
*I pull up to the suspects house and knock on the door*
'Who is it' *I hear a woman who sounds like she is crying*
'Its the Police, Mam'
*She opens the door*
'Can I help you?'
*I observe a woman whose face and arms are covered in bruises and she is bleeding from her mouth*
"PC-1 to PC-8 could you come over here to assist me or another unit nearby"
'Mam, are you okay?'
'No, i can't talk to you, he'll kill me'
'Mam, we have your husband in custody, he admitted to beating you up after he ran from me'
'What? No No NO he'll think I called you. I have to go.'
*She closes the door on my face and I try to negotiate with her, but she won't listen*

"PC-1 to COPA, I have a possible domestic violence and the victim is scared for her life and refusing police help"

*I walk to my car and just sit there waiting to see if another unit responds or if COPA gives me further instructions*

*I put the suspect in the back of my car*

"PC-8 10-4 i'm enroute code 1"

*I drive to the location and pull up behind Booth's car*

'I have to stay near the suspect'

"6 en route code 2 to back 1. Can you start PEMS routine to standby in the area?"

*I continue to sit in my car and turn on my Red dome light*

'Now Daniel, you be honest with me'

'Yes, sir.'

'Is everything you told me correct?'

'Yes, Sir.'

'Ok, so why did your wife accuse you of cheating?'

'Because I did.'

*I sit there for a minute and slowly turn around*

'Come again?'

'I did cheat on her.'

'Why?'

'Because I like this other girl.'

'Do, yall have kids?'

'Yeah, a little boy about 3 named James'

'So, let me get this straight. You cheated on your wife and when she called you on it, you beat her and upset for going to jail because of it?'

'Yes'

'What about your son? Didn't you think of him at all before you did this?'

'No, I didn't.'

'Yeah,it shows'

*I pick up my cellphone and dial Booth's number and fill him in.*

*I then dial Libor's number and inform him*

'Alright copy that, we have a distraught wife/victim who is in the house with a 3 year old who knows what she is doing in there'

*I walk to my cruiser and lean on the trunk while I await for the LT's arrival*

I notice the PAAP SUV pursuing the DUI's truck. He isn't having much luck because the DUI can go anywhere over any landing strip. I speed up to join in the pursuit, and I drive alongside the DUI's truck, I look inside and see and incredibly drunk looking person turning the wheel inside. I switch on the PA speaker and say "Pull over, this is the police. Pull over now."
This doesn't stop him. He carries on driving around, when he swerves onto a dust track heading away from the airport. I follow him and so does the PAAP unit, I press the speaker button on the radio and say "Perp is heading on a dust road away from the airfield. I need units to assist code 3, now!"
I follow him down towards Trulit, staying parrallel to Southside Trulit Road. Two TSD Cruisers ovbiously heard about the pursuit from the PAAP and they swerve onto the dust track, about a hundred metres behind me, the PAAP SUV and the DUI.

*Once I get off the phone I look at the suspect*

'So, in the end was it worth it?'

*He looks at me obviously upset*

'No, it wasn't.'

'Well there ya go'

*I notice a PPD cruiser pull up behind me*

'Hey, what's up Dave?'

'Well Jones, how are you doing buddy?'

'Pretty good, anything I can do to help?'

'You can take this prisoner for us.'

'Sure thing'

*We get the subject transfered to his car*

'Yeah, if you could take him down to lockup, either myself or Booth will be down there to book him.'

'You got it.'

*Jones drives off*

*I walk over to Booth*

'Hey, I have the suspect being taken down for us.'

*I hear Mandrose's call for assistance go over the radio*

'Do you think you and Libor can handle this?'

'Don't want to put yall out, but i'm his mentor'

'Yea go for it she's the victim not the suspect, i don't think she's gonna fight with us. So yea go back him up, we'll handle this'

'At least we hope not'

*I say laughing as I walk to my unit*

*I get in and take off turning on my lights*

"PC-8 to PC-7: Can you give me an update on your location and your status please"

*I walk to cruiser and sit inside and pick up the radio and hot the PTT button*

"PC-1 to Lt. Libor can I get an ETA please?"

"Yeah, were still heading eastbound on the dust track, south of Trulit. It's not on any maps but I think there was a turn off about 300 metres back."
I swerve around and off the road onto the grass on either side, the perp drives through a hedge and forwards through a field. "Be advised, perp has now entered field and is heading southbound."

"8 is direct"

*I keep going and turn off the road onto a dirt road*

"8 to 7: how many units do you have with you?"

"Three, two TAD, one PAAP."
We continue through the field, as I think to myself, 'well we can't take him out at the moment - he's no danger to civillians, but he can't just keep going like this.' I also think that if he does, the State Patrol will have to take over. I start to think about how we can immobolise him.

"10-4"

*I keep going on the dirt road*

"8 to 7: If he doesn't stop soon, we need to have State take over"

*I walk to the door and bang on it some more and she finally answers*

'What?'
'Mam, could we talk'
'No we can't'
'Who did that to you, was it your husband?'
'I can't tell you, good bye'

*Since she is refusing police and medical assistance I walk to my car and pick up my mic*

"PC-1 I'll be clear Lt. Libor can disregard, victim is refusing treatment so the PEMS unit can clear and I'll be enroute to the station for booking"

"Booth or Lafferty, if available from patrol, can I meet with you in my office regarding the report you just sent in, something attracted my attention"

"Booth available enroute to your office"

"Understood, just check in and come straight up, We'll do a quick little meeting on it"

*I pull out of the station and drive to 1589 3rd Ave.*

"PC-1 is in UMC-2 heading to 1589 3rd Ave. for material witness"

*I drive to the address code 1*

'Police open up'

'Open up now, I have orders to bring you and your son to a safe house'
*She opens the door slightly*
'What? what are you talking about?'
'My boss told me to pick you up and bring you to a safe house for your protection'
'I don't want to'
'I wasn't asking, lets go, or for your son's safety I will have to take him to social services'
'Okay, okay, please don't'
'Pack a bag and lets go now'
*I go inside and grab the bag she has packed already and carry it out to the car*
'Lets go'
*Wife and son head to the car and we drive off quickly*
"PC-1 heading to safe house"

*I grab my radio mic*

"SUP2 to COPA, Any available traffic calls pending?"

*I start drving down trulit interpass towards trulit*

*I call Nate and ask him to meet at safe house (Disclosed location, I text you the location) until backup officers arrive for the protection detail*

"PC-1 arrived at safe house I will be inside with the "packages""

*I move into the safe house quick with the witness and I wait for my backup to arrive"

"Sup2, I've got a call for reported lights gone at the industrial interstate offramp. They're all green. Wanna check that out?"

"PC-1 to COPA do you have an ETA on my backup for the safe house?"

*I await in the safe house for the backup to arrive*

"They should be pulling up now"

"10-4 I copy"

*I look out the window and see 2 people approaching the house and I tell the wife that these 2 officers will be taking my place and covering for me, I then hear a knock on the door, I unholster my weapon and hold it by my side to make sure that these 2 are my backup*

'Hey booth, We're here to relieve you of the safe house'
'Alright, Thanks guys, see ya later'

*I holster my weapon and walk to the UMC and get in and start the car up*

"PC-1 to COPA I am returning to the station to switch cars and to change into my uniform"

*I pull out and drive to the station code 1*

"PC-1 to COPA I'll be available for call out"

*I pull out of the lot and cruise awaiting for a call out or something to happen*

I pull the Magnum onto the interpass and thank the driver behind me for letting me in, as I move the gear to 3rd and we cruise towards Trulit, I see a van with a ladder on top, suddenly lose the ladder, as it wasn't secured properly. I flick on the rear lights and quickly brake the car, slowing down traffic fast as I turn on a sign at the back. ROADBLOCK DO NOT PASS scrolls along the Matrix board and the cars all start to slow behind us, stopping.
'Watch my back.' I say to Matt as I grab my hi-vis traffic coat and climb out of the car quickly, leaving the door open as I leg it over to the ladder. "COPA, CE-1 stopping traffic eastbound on the Trulit Interpass, debris on road. Over." I say into my radio quickly as I start to drag the metal ladder across the tarmac of the road, onto the shoulder.

As I finish putting the ladder in a safe place, I see up ahead the van had stopped, and turned on its hazard lights and the little amber beacon on the roof, and another man in a day-glo vest was walking behind the barrier towards me. I shook my head and shout. 'Oi, stay there!' Not bothering with manners as I quickly pull our car onto the shoulder, and giving the cars a wave to continue, I climb out and walk towards him 'Ok, you' I say pointing at the man, a short balding asian. 'You've nearly caused a large accident, get to your van, get me your licence and registration, quickly.' I hear him mutter as he walks to his van, and I turn back to our car. 'Matt, can you get the Licence plate checked?

*We continue through the field, and I look at my GPS. It says were half a mile away from a side road. I look forwards and see the hedge at which were heading at. I suddenly realise whats going to happen, when a new voice appears on the ERT Radio frequency.*

"Hello? Hello?" Says the voice.

"Yeah, this is PC-7, ERT. Who are you?"

"Oh, yeah, State Patrol. Sorry but I think were taking this over now, it's our jurisdiction."

"Yeah, sure."

"But, where are you?"

"Were coming up towards Peter's Track. You go there, you'll find us."

"Okay, thanks."

(State Patrol actually has jurisdiction in the entire state, its just usally once a pursuit leaves the city limits its best to let them take over. Their trained in various techniques)

*I over hear State Patrol taking over*

"PC-8 is direct back available"

*I turn my lights off and slow down and turn around and get back on the main road*

"8 to COPA: Do we have any patrol calls pending?"

"PC-1 is enroute back to station for a break"

*I turn around and drive to the station code 1*

The man hobbles back from his van, still cursing me as he hands me his driver's licence and registration details for the car.
'So you're Stephen Zedong?' I ask, looking at the picture on the licence then at him. He nods furiously 'This your ladder?' I say, pointing at the ladder on the ground I knew was his.
'It belong... to... friend.' He says in broken english, I nod and look over at the van.
'Where is your friend?' I ask. He points over to the Ford van. 'In the van?' He nods and I scratch my head for an itch quickly. 'Does he own the van?'
'Uhh... it... is... his... van.' He replies, I nod and check my notebook.
'Okay. Go back to the van, I'll be right over, and then we'll ask your friend. Stephen nods and I head back to the Magnum, turning round to see him still there, but then he limps back to the van. He climbs in, and then I see the hazard lights go off, and the brake lights too, and the van just pulls away

"COPA, CE-1 is in pursuit of a Ford Van, heading Eastbound down the Interpass to Trulit, requesting back-up. Over." I put my radio back on the little hook as I climb in our Magnum, and shift the car into gear quickly, speeding up as I turn on all the emergency lights. I see the van take a gap in traffic, and continue to follow, taking a gap a short bit behind him, and then laying on the bullhorn, trying to move cars.

*I hear CE-1's traffic*

"PC-8 to CE-1: I copy traffic and will be enroute"

*I turn around and flip on my lights as I turn onto the Interpass*

I yank the car's wheel sharply to the right, pulling us onto the shoulder, then shift the gear up, and lay my foot flat to the floor as the Magnum speeds up down the shoulder, and I see the still flashing amber beacon on the van, just ahead of us.
"CE-1, van is a White Ford E-Series, amber beacon on the roof, still rotating. Over." I say into the microphone as I click a button on the wheel, I see him brake suddenly and the driver behind tries to brake as well, hitting the back of him at a low speed, but still damaging the car. [b]"COPA, got a minor MVA on the Interpass, eastbound to Trulit, looks like a small hatchback, still in pursuit." I say into the radio again as I keep speeding after the van, who was now still driving like a lunatic.

*I grab my radio throw it on my duty belt and run out of my house and hop in my car I throw on my light and siren. I then speed down my road.*

"SUP2 to CE1, I'm enroute from trulit. What's the current speeds, level of traffic, and the want?."

"SUP2 to COPA, start us an air unit and a K9 ASAP."

*I pull out of my road and on the main road and speed though trulit.*

*I notice flashing lights up ahead*

"8 to CE-1 and COPA I am joining the pursuit"

*I swerve to avoid hitting another car*

"8 to CE-1 I will call radio traffic so you can focus on driving"

"CE-1, the vehicle is slowing down, looks like he's taking a left turn at Trulit Road, I'm gonna try and get in front of the sod and block his first right at Peach, SUP-2, can you get just before Orange Street intersection and spike strip the road. Over." I desperately lay the accelerator flat to the ground as I just overtake the van, which is caught in the traffic. I keep driving past, and pull left just before the van does, and block his first right, by braking hard just before the intersection, and keeping at his speed.

*I hear CE1 just as I get to that intersection. I hop out and run to the trunk and grab the spikes out and wait*

"CE1, spikes will be in position. When you get a chance what's the want?"

I stop the vehicle pulling into the avenue and keep on his right side, to force him to hit the spikes. I see the passenger swearing at me as I keep him in line. "SUP-2, White Ford E-Series van, amber light on roof. Over." I say, as the van starts to veer into me, and I veer with him so we don't crash, flicking the siren to piercer. "200 yards from spikes." I say, seeing the Dodge Charger just up ahead. He tries to hit me again, and I stop, as he speeds up and I nudge his rear. "CE-1 to pursuing units, after he hits spikes, box him, and we'll get 'em out."

*I throw out the spikes and he tries to swerve around it. He loses control and his rear end of the van slides into the spikes.*

"SUP2, he hit the spikes, box him in."

*I grab the spikes and run and throw them in the trunk and run up and hop in my drivers seat. I wait for CE1 and PC8 to pass me. To make a u turn.*
