Drugs and accident

((What kind of protection gear does patrol officers have available in our patrol cars? We already wear ballistic vests as I recall, but do we have helmets etc. in our cars?))

*I get out of my vehicle and check my sidearm. It's loaded and ready, I recently cleaned it and reloaded the clip, so I know it can be trusted to work now. I walk over to the other officers gathering. I ask Bridwell:*

"What do we equip for the breach, sergeant?"

"I swear to god, I'm putting down a report on you guys if you keep disobeying orders. Get spreaders, spread the door. Take a backboard and get him out. Davis, when he's out, help me get him stabilized."

libor to holmes, you have the back left corner, i have front right, we each watch two sides.

"Got it, Garica."

*I get some stuff out of the trauma bag while the P11 guys cut the door open.*

"After this, should we work on containg the oil?"

"Looks like Libor and Holmes are in place. Let's go."

**I hold up the ballistic shield in front of me with my pistol poking out on the side. I advance quietly up to the front door.**

"Whenever you guys are ready, breach the door and we'll go in."

Alright, he's good.
*I take off the roof of the truck and put a neckbrace on the guy.*
"Bring the backboard."

*I follow Bucello up to the door, drawing my gun and removing the safety in the process. I get behind Bucello and stand at the ready.*

((I'm going to bed followed by work now, feel free to play my character until I return!))

I get the guy on the stercher and wheel him to the ambulance.

"Alright, how is he? If he's alright, than we gotta clean up the oil."

"He's seems stable you guys can clean up the oil"
I get in the drivers seat and go to the hospital
"ALS 1 enoroute to hospital"

"OK guys, let's see what we can use here..."

*I start digging through the equipment doors to see if I can find something to clean up the oil.*

I arrive at the hospital wheel in the guy give the report to the nurse. I then go back to the ambulance and clean and restock.
"COPA, should I go stage with BLS 1?"

(most trucks will have some kind of absorbent powder.)

Uhhhh....I think we should put foam on it to blanket it so it won't ignite so easily.
*I pull a crosslay and fill it with foam until Davis finds the powder .*

"FOUND IT!"

*I take it out and hold it up in the air. Then I walk over and put some on the oil.*

(dont most squads carry kitty litter as absorbant?)

(IDK. Thought that was more like rescues)
"Alright. good. The engine is smoking a bit. I'll put it down."
*I grab an extinguisher and put it out.*
I put cones around the trucks and TSD helps us out.

*I continue pouring powder on the oil.*

"It's absorbing, so we'll be able to sweep it up in a few minutes."

Alright, I'll wait. I know we can't touch the evidence so can you help me put this hose back?

(Okay. SO.. I leave this for a little bit, and it goes bad.)
"Hannahan.. Your paying for a new foam container and a whole lot more. Nice job when I warned you to wear a B.A when approaching. Everyone gets a safety violation and unnecessary use of equipment. Ridgeback, thanks ."

*I run back to the truck and put on my SCBA gear.*

"Sorry, Garcia, I forgot. When can we sweep up rhe oil, or does it need to be identified or something?"

(Do we have any pressure sensitive tape so if I cut the roof of the truck, glass won't fly everywhere or is that on the squad or rescues?)

Entry team, I need an update please

"DC should I go stage with BLS 1 now since all victims from the crash are at the hospital."

"COPA, the entry team is awaiting Bridwell to breach the door. I (quite literally) have my hands full."

"Anyone need help?"

"How do you sweep up oil in dirt? Also. There were so many things wrong within what we did. Oh well. Anyways, the oil should never have been a main concern. There was a victim, and concern was put on oil..."

((Bridwell hasn't responded. We're continuing without him.))

**I hear Bridwell shout and kick in the door. I run in front with my ballistics shield. There's no one there. I lead the team to the back room before moving on to the basement; there's two men who were sleeping on cots. They are trying to get out of bed.**

"Put your hands up NOW! Don't reach for anything!"

**They put their hands up. Bridwell handcuffs them while the rest of the entry team moves downstairs.**

((But Garcia, the victim was quickly extricated adn put in the hospital. We've got to clean up hzazardous wastes.))

"Alright Lt, what should we do now? Should we shovel up the dirt?"

((Do you guys have any RL experience with fire and such?))

"Lt. where do you need me?"

((I'm 13, so no, not really.))

"Yeah, I guess we just need to start sweeping stuff off the road and stuff."

I do but we never really worried about oil when I did it my county but the car was kinda on a bed of rocks so I guess not in this case.
"I'll help you davis"

**The raid team continues downstairs. There are lots of boxes and equipment. Two men are hiding behind a stack of crates.**

"I see you! Come out now! Police!"

**They come out with their hands up. There's a third person who walks out with a pistol. He fires at me because I'm in front. The shield does a good job of blocking the bullet. Me and the rest of the raid team return fire; the shooter goes down.**

"CLEAR! COPA, the building is clear. We had shots fired, one suspect down, four in custody."

**After the rest of the building's occupants are arrested, I look over the injured person.**

"COPA, we have a suspect down with two graze wounds. Two bullets grazed his hand and upper right arm. Looks like he was wearing body armor; he took five shots to the chest, but none went through."

*I grab the EMS bag and wait for the clear to go in*

"McGuire to Bucello, is the scene safe for me to enter?"

"BLS-1 to ALS-1. Sounds like we have one victim the multiple gunshot wounds, you can make your way over here, just be advised, EMS has not yet been cleared for entry into the scene."

*i walk over to McGuire*
"you need any help carrying anything?"

*I see Bruce walking over, so I roll down the passenger window.*

"Nah, once EMS is cleared to the scene I'm just going to drive the rig over there. Thanks though."

"alright"
*i walk back over to the ladder jump in start it up and wait to be cleared to go in*

(I'll take a note to use speedydry next time. It dries up the oil, or gas, and we could sweep it to the side)

"I say again, building is CLEAR. Victim will be downstairs. Be advised, there is an operating drug lab and storage facility here."

**I take a quick look around. The crates contain marajuana, and there are boxes of Sudafed.**

"COPA, there's a lot of marajuana down here, and it also looks like they have some of the ingredients for a meth lab. There doesn't seem to be machinery for meth production, but there is some for making pipes."

"confirming EMS is clear to come in?"

"Received Bucello, just wanted to confirm."

*I put the ambulance in drive, and drive up to t he store, I park outside, across the street and step out.*

*I walk around to one side to get an air purifying mask for myself, then grab a jump kit, a stair chair, lay the stair chair on the stretcher, and bring it to the back door next to the basement stairs. I carry the jumpbag and stair chair down the stairs*

"Hey man, I'm going to bring you to the hospital alright? I'm going to need your cooperation. Now I need you to get on to this chair here, okay?"

*I grab his uninjured arm and assist him onto the chair. I quickly wrap a temporary bandage around the wound. I strap him in, then roll it to the base of the stairs*

"Try not to move, okay?"

*I grab the handles at the top of the chair, Putter gets ready at the bottom. We pull the stair chair up step by step, at the top of the stairs next to the stretcher, I unbuckle the straps*

"Cole, you take the legs, Putter, you help me with the torso and we will place him on the stretcher on 3. 1, 2, 3."

*We pick him up and place him on the stretcher*

"Alright, let's get him into BLS-1."

*I put the jump bag over my shoulder, and pull the end of the stretcher.*

"Cole, help me with the stretcher, Putter, grab the stair chair."

*We roll it outside, and put him in the ambulance. I dispose of the air mask I had, then I step into the back. I start oxygen for him, and put on the mask. I take the scissors, and cut off his shirt. I cut the side straps of the bullet vest, I put on a new pair of gloves and pick it up*

Bucello
"McGuire to Bucello, I got his bullet vest if you want it for evidence or anything. I've picked up with new gloves, so if it's evidence it shouldn't be contaminated by us."

Ridgeback
"McGuire to ALS-1. We have a victim with two gunshot wounds to the arm, he is on assisted breathing, standby for vitals. We are in BLS-1 right outside of the store."

"COPA this is Anders, if we have the possibilty of meth-anfedimine I sujest we have a HAZMAT secure the secen for the rest of fire if needed" I say into the radio sitting in the ladder

"Understood, McGuire, we'll collect that later."

**I look around the room again. There seems to be a piece of drywall that was cut out of the unfinished part of the basement. I push it away; there's a small meth lab in the back.**

"COPA, we've located the meth lab, it's in the unfinished part of the basement. Recommend leaving the building now, this is a dangerous situation. McGuire, I recommend you move the victim if you can. Fire department will need to declare the back room safe."

((He's in the ambulance, or did you want us to move the truck for FD to get in easier?))

"Move the ambulance, we're going to try to maintain a perimeter around the house in case the lab blows for any reason, or if anything toxic escapes. We're lucky nothing bad happened in the shootout."

**I move up the stairs.**

"Patrol officers outside, set up a perimeter at the intersections and make sure no one gets near the house. There's a meth lab that is still dangerous."

"Alright, we're repositioning."

*I'll be right back guys*

*I step into the cab, take a quick look at the map on the EAT, then put it in drive and drive to a parking lot on Midtown Road.*

"BLS-1 to ALS-1 and COPA, we are repositioning to a parking lot on Midtown Road for safety. ALS-1, confirm that you know our new location?"

((10-4 is the only allowed one, because it only ahs one meaning))
