(I don't think this would count as a building of interest)

    This building includes:

    -Emergency 24hr vet
    -General vet
    -Dog & Cat adoption
    -Dog & Cat boarding
    -Pet store
-Animal Control Team (2 vans that hold 2-3 animal control officers. At least one van always on duty)

*I pull my new Charger into the lot, parking close to the main door. Me an Kelly get out, and go up to the desk.*

'Hi, we're here to adopt a dog. I James here? He is the one we have been in contact with about this.'

'Sure, no problem. I'll have James come out to meet you.'

*The lady at the desk calls James, he walks out, we introduce ourselves, then walk into the kennel*

'James - 'So it was a German Shepard puppy you're interested in?'

    Me - 'Yes"

*We see a German Shepard Puppy, we pick it up, and it is perfect. I go over to pay and sign papers and make tags, while Kelly goes and buys stuff for the puppy*

(Kelly, go buy stuff for the puppy lol)

*I walk into the shop off the side of the main entrance

'Hi' i say to the lady by the counter

*I go in, I find a big bed for the German Shepard, I pick that up, then a get a few toys, bones, and a big bag of dog food. I also get a fake grass patch since we might not be able to get home to let it out during the day. I buy a carrier too, I carry all of this stuff to the counter. I pay, and the lady helps me bring it out to the car, we put everything in the truck.

'Thank you very much for your help'

*I walk back in to see Doug finalizing the adoption

*I sign the final papers, then go over to make the tag machine*

(We'll name the dog as soon as we agree on a name)

*I take the tag, put it on the collar, then put the collar on (dogs name). I lead him into the pet carrier, once he's in, I unhook the leash, lock the door, and pick it up. I put it in the backseat of my charger, then me and Kelly get in the front, and return home*

*I pull up outside and turn the truck off, getting out. I turn the volume on my radio down low and walk in. The lady at the desk looks up from her computer.*

"Hi, I'm interested in adopting a cat."

"That's great, we haven't had a cat adoption in weeks. Are you looking for a kitten or an adult cat?"

    "Uh, a kitten."

    "Wait here, please."

*She goes through a door behind the desk and re-emerges a few minutes later with a man wearing a PAWC volunteer T-shirt.*

    Desk lady- "Mr. uh--"

    "O'Reilly," I supply.

"Mr. O'Reilly is looking to adopt a kitten. Please take him back and let him choose one."

"Okay, sir, if you'll come through the double doors ahead of you, I'll take you back."

*I walk through the double doors and we head down to the cats. I start looking them over and quickly spot a Russian Blue. I point him out to the guy, who picks up the kitten and hands him to me. I cradle him in my arms.*

"This one. I've always like Russian Blues. Does he have a name?"

"Yes, he's Smoky. Please come this way."

*I follow him back out to the desk, where I sign all the paperwork and pay the fees. I decline the offer of spading/neutering (whichever it is for males) him and pick out a lime-green collar for him, then get his tags. I pocket the collar, since he's still a kitten, then walk into the store, still cradling the kitten. I get a cat carrier, a bag of kitten food, a litterbox, bag of litter, then a few cat toys. I carry it all up to the counter and pay, then put the little kitten in the cat carrier and carry everything out to my truck and put it in, then head home.*
