    Patrol Information Empty Patrol Information

When driving to a scene in the patrol area please look over what Code 1, Code 2, and Code 3 are supposed to be used for.

Code 1: Assistance, Second or third to scene, non life threatening.
Code 2: First due, non violent robbery in progress, domestic abuse report (no immediate danger, just an arguement escalating or whatever)
Code 3: Life or death urgent, such as Murder suspect on the loose, weapons calls, police chases, or any other incident, where lights and siren may help public, such as if responding to a car accident on the highway, lights and siren will alert people to slow down and not pass you, which could stop a single car accident from becoming a pileup.

This is probably where we are going to post more information about how things kinda need to go. I know DC put this in his report with our drunk driving call but I wanted this to be where we can add to it.

Does Code 1 apply to all second or third to scenes? Because If I push a panic button, shouldn't units arrive Code 2-3 until called off?

If you hit panic, it's life threatening.

Code 4 means no further assistance required. That counts as a radio code, not a response code, so since we don't use radio codes, no
