    Post by BlackBird Sat Nov 06, 2010 10:55 am

    (( This is merely for Roleplay Purposes. This is not an actual business or practice. This is an Roleplay Company that will do your lights orders, for the department you are working with. This is C.F.D by the way. ))

    BlackBird Warning Corp. Blackbird
    Since 2009, BlackBird Warning Corp. has been providing total vehicle system solutions for Law Enforcement, Fire & Rescue and EMS agencies.

    Our mission is to provide the most reliable, efficient and safe missionary vehicles for the clients. To keep the First Responders safe, audio and visual wise.

    Bring us a stock vehicle. We will return an invaluable asset.

    Our "shop and staff" are equipped to handle a wide range of vehicle installations for just about any law enforcement, security, or life safety application. Here are the most common types of vehicles we outfit:

    * General Law Enforcement
    * Prisoner Transport
    * SWAT and “Jump-Outs”
    * Mobile Command
    * Undercover Surveillance
    * Armored Car / Secure Transport
    * Emergency Response ( Ambulance, Fire Truck, Rapid Response Units)

    Custom Installations range from basic communications and lights to fully-equipped mobile command units.

    I’ve listed some of the more common components regularly installed.

    Exterior and Visible Components

    * Headlight Flashers (wig-wag)
    * Brakelight Flashers (flashback)
    * Sirens
    * Speakers
    * Strobe Lights
    * Push Bumpers LEDs
    * Stealth Emergency Lighting
    * Marked /Unmarked Patrol Package Lighting

    We will provide a flexible lighting plan for you, and you will choose options that you feel would keep your department safe; and to the code.

    How to Order?

    In order to send your orders to BlackBird, you must fill-out a form to explain your orders, and how you envision your order.

    To do this, please propose your blueprint to me, and include what it must have;

    Options will include:

    1) Corner Strobes; Rear Strobes ( Colored LED is optional)
    2) Slicktop Package with Limited Lights
    3) Slicktop Package with 360 Warning Lights
    4) LED Exterior Lights ( i.e Rear Mirror LEDS, ( Color of your choice), Grille Lights, Rear Plate Lights)
    5) Stock Lightbar/ Patrol Lights
    6) Whelen Lightings for Fire and EMS Apparatus

    Type of Vehicle:

    1) Traffic Unit Unmarked
    2) Marked Patrol Car
    3) NARC/Detective Unmarked Impala/Crown Victoria.
    4) Highway Patrol
    5) SUV Patrol
    6) Unmarked Tahoe/Suburban.
    7) Ambulance
    8 ) Firetruck
    9) Ladder Truck
    10)Tiller Truck
    11) Command Units
    12) Spec. Units ( Life Guard, Security, POVs, etc)

    Also, when you include in your order; you must detail how it should look like, what colors, patterns, how many light units, so our plan can be flexible with your department lighting code.

    If you are a POV Operator, We also specialize in POV vehicles; but in order to obtain a POV Package, you must have an approved letter by your Department Commanding Officer, that states that you are permitted to drive a POV.

    If you are not in a Command Division, and still wishes to order for the department, you must have approval by High Command.

    If you are in High Command and wishes to order for your units, you will not need approval.

    The orders must contain no more than 3 units. BlackCorps has a very tight schedule and we aim to keep our orders finished by date.

    To File your Order, please PM it to this account or Email Chad at chad_wildcats22@hotmail.com and you will be contacted back.

    This is a good idea but I feel though we should leave COPA requests to Burke.

    Not to be the party pooper here, but maybe it's time COPA set some ground rules for personal vehicles etc.?
    It would seem strange if everyone started responding in their own vehicles...

    Just throwing it out there for debate!
    Other than that, good initiative! Smile

    This might be the case, but I suspect that the members that have joined ERT after the initial "wave" might have missed this information and might need to be aware of it's existence. Smile
    I suspect this partly because I myself have not seen this info. That being said I have not sought it out either, as I do not intend to aquire a POV nor do I need it.

    I'm only bringing this up because I feel that a over-use of POV's will affect the feeling of realism to this game negatively.

    P.S: I have searched and found some information on the POV subject. It can be found in this topic.

    To clear things up;

    1) I am not in any way, affliated with COPA. I am just merely a Civilian Company that does Emergency Products Installation for clients.

    2) POV- Again, I don't make the rules, i just take the orders. I cannot decide who is an authorized POV Operator and who isn't. If you are an Authorized POV Operator, and wishes to have your Personal Owned Vehicle Updated by BlackBird, You must provide a valid department identification and authorization proof by your Commanding officer that you are an Authorized POV Operator- Failure to do so, we will not complete your order.

    3) If you are a civilian and wishes to have Red/Blue Lights on your civilian vehicle- We will respectfully decline that because Red/Blue Colors is only destinated and constitutes under the law, for First Responders; I.e Fire Department, Police, EMS. Simple Installation such as Wig Wags, Corner Strobes, or Halogen Lights are permitted, however we will not be responsible for your legal actions.

    Again, BlackBird is just a Company that specializes in Vehicle Warnings and safety.

    On behalf of the ERT, I will address a concern brought by members. Although roleplaying is good, this is an emergency roleplay, and members worry that if roleplay companies show up, they'll take over the game.

    My question is how exactly will this work, out of character real world wise?

    Basically if you represent a department, such as The Police, and you wish to have your fleet updated, perhaps a new look to it, or if you wish to "tune" up the current lights, We're obliged to do that for you.

    Picture us this way: We're a store you walk in, and you say, Hey, i need Whelen Mirror LEDs, Install it on PD fleet, and we'll do that.

    We're not attempting to control this community. We're just that "Upgrades" you see in video games...Flashy ones;)

    So in order for it to work, You name the prototype of the vehicle, and if we have it, we'll do the order for you. Then we'll email the prototype(s) to the client and you do whatever you wish after wards.

    You mean how it'd be a benefit in the real world? Nothing really; Maybe better relationships among members? I don't know, just something to keep us busy, haha.

    Sorry, i don't have a valid answer for your question.

    I'll probably take out some of my time to make a layout presentation of per order for the clients. I'll also participate in your server for sessions and I might apply to become a Police Officer with ERT to build a better relationship.

    Bottom line is, Originally I planned this to be a " Take and Make" --- A simple strategy for me. But if you want me to make some visual graphics, I'm fine with that. If you want me to be a member with the community, I'm fine with that. I'm willing to make an ERT pack so all can use for the same Multi-Player session without worrying about Missing or Nonequivalent Prototypes.

    Ok. I get it now, Do you photoshop stuff too? We can't always do this by game remember. Can you animate a picture to make it look like a POV or make a POV or something using the tools on Photoshop. (Anything not gaming)

    I think he thinks we are a mod for emergency 4. This isn't a mod, everything is on the site. That's the whole game
